“Can't speak highly enough of the staff. I am very sensitive to blood work and the nurse, Viv, kept me distracted while drawing 9 vials. I passed out once she finished (not an unusual experience for me...) but her continued care and conversation after kept me in high spirits, all things considered :) The location is definitely tough for walk-ins, but if you have an appointment the service is prompt.”

“I've given gallons of blood and been poked and prodded by many phlebotomists over the years, but have never experienced this kind of ineptitude. Viv didn't clean the area, or even feel for a vein before she tied my arm and just stuck in the needle in a very strange place while my arm was bent. When she didn't hit a vein she poked around several times until she got lucky. I tried not to move or emote because she had a needle in my arm. And because my arm had been bent, it hurt when she pulled out the needle. Now, over a week later, I'm still black and blue. As I left she knew she'd messed up, and very sarcastically wished me a "beautiful day!" To be clear, Jessica at the front desk was fine. It was the employee who mattered most, the phlebotomist, Viv, who was so extremely incompetent. It makes me wonder about labcorp's criteria for hiring staff. First photo below, day after.
